What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a state of relaxation and helps to access the person’s unconscious mind where all control over the internal states of happiness / sadness etc and the person’s behaviours are governed. The person enters a trance state which is a state distinctly different from a person’s normal state through a natural process of relaxing. This is a very pleasant and safe state of deep relaxation – half way between being awake and asleep.
What does hypnotherapy feel like?
During hypnotherapy you are pleasantly relaxed and you close your eyes and you drift off into peaceful trance, (which is a naturally occurring state of mind). You can even go into a light hypnotic state yourself by imagining a relaxing scene or a happy memory in detail.
Can anyone be hypnotised?
Everyone is susceptible to hypnosis just to differing degrees, only a small percentage of the population are low in susceptibility, the majority of people can be hypnotised. However no one can be hypnotised against their will and in a state of Hypnosis you remain in control and will not do what you don’t want to for example – you would when asked, relax and breathe deeply and find it comforting, if however you were asked to go and rob a bank – you would not do that.
Is it possible to get stuck in hypnosis?, this notion comes from stage shows – put on for entertainment value, our Master Practitioners will guide you in and out of Hypnosis easily so that you have the best experience with us.
Will I be asleep or unconscious?
People can sometimes look like they are asleep or unconscious whilst in Hypnosis, when actually your awareness is heightened by trance which is a highly absorbed state of mind experienced by people when they meditate.

How do we get started?
I recommend that you first book a FREE Consultation assessment session. This allows us to discuss your current issues that you require our help with and to ensure you feel comfortable with our practitioners.
If at the end of this consultation, we are both happy to proceed, we can arrange further sessions, or you can take time to think about things further. You are under no obligation to continue.
How long is each session?
Sessions last for between 50 minutes and 1 hour, additional time is incorporated outside the session to allow you to settle in, make payment and re-book. Because we are keen to make sure your first treatment visit is your last, we often recommend back to back treatment sessions so that you can benefit from early resolution and save time and expense on revisits.
How often will I need to attend?
We differ from other therapists out there in that, we are not interested in having you come back to see us week after week for months on end. We endeavor to resolve your issues in the shorted possible time, – in the majority of cases this is within 3 sessions. More complex or multiple issues will require further sessions or our intensive treatments which are normally carried out over a two day period.
What are your cancellation charges?
In preparation for your treatment session(s) we carry out assessments & evaluations, prepare pre-treatment taskings etc…before, during and after each session. If we set aside our time to see you, and take the time to prepare for you in order to give you the best treatment and experience we can, it seems only fair that you should expect to pay us for our wasted time and effort, whatever the reason for your cancellation, if you do not give us at least 1 working days notice of cancellation or rescheduling, you will obviously be charged as if you have attended the session.
What qualifications do you have?
